Lauren Nielsen
PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Lauren Nielsen received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2014. Dr. Nielsen completed an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency and went on to become a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS). She also completed a two-year Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship and is a certified Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and has been providing orthopaedic and sports-based care for over nine years with a special emphasis on treating performing artists and providing manual, "hands-on" therapy. She has completed additional training in trigger point dry needling and blood flow restriction training to help patients recover from musculoskeletal pain and injuries.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and son at Leu Gardens, drinking fancy coffees from the Mills50 area, and running (slowly).
