A thorough evaluation will let us design a program specific to your needs.

The initial appointment will typically last about an hour, and at the conclusion of the evaluation the therapist will discuss her findings with you and design an individualized treatment program for you. This program will be based on both your history and your examination, and it typically includes in-office exercises as well as techniques for a home exercise program. We are in-network with many insurance plans and will bill out-of-network insurances for you as well. If you are paying out of pocket for services you will be given a good faith estimate for the cost of sessions.

Insurance

We are in-network with many insurance companies including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Florida Blue, Medicare, Tricare and United Healthcare as well as other smaller insurance companies. We do take auto insurance claims where the policy PIP benefits have not been exhausted, and we do not accept LOPs.

Direct Access and physician referrals

The state of Florida is a Direct Access state which means that a referral is not necessary to initiate physical therapy. However, Direct Access is governed by a state statute that states if your condition requires care for longer than a 30 calendar day period, a physician’s referral will be required to continue your physical therapy care.

To read the full statute please visit: Florida Statutes – Chapter 486.021 (11) (a)
